Hi, I’m Olivia. I am a poetry and prose writer based in Gainesville, Florida. I will be graduating from the University of Florida with a bachelor’s degree in English and minors in public relations and mass communications in Spring 2024. I have utilized my time at UF to pursue a concentration in creative writing, accumulating experience through four upper-division poetry workshops as well as one in creative nonfiction. My work centers around themes of loneliness, femininity, family, and personal relationships with physical space. I have also self-published a zine combining both poetry and visual art. Recently, I have been especially interested in Florida as a subject, exploring the state’s eccentric and idiosyncratic nature.
